Seminar presentations

May 29-31, the First Joint Seminar of the Nordic and Baltic Countries "Against Trafficking in women” took place in Tallinn. It was the opening event of the Nordic - Baltic Campaign against Trafficking in Women carried out in Estonia. 
The aim of the seminar was to turn public attention to the seriousness of women trafficking issue and enhance solving the problems in this field through international co-operation.

The presentations of the joint seminar give the participants an overview of the essence and scope of the trafficking in women, action mechanisms, research in the field and the results. The objective of the seminar is to raise awareness in the human rights', economic, social and social security aspects of the issue.
